You can publish a mobile page to Shopify in a few simple steps. Famous pages published to Shopify will appear under the Pages section of the Online Store Sales Channel in your Shopify admin. You can learn more about managing pages in the Shopify Admin here.
Since Famous pages are intended to be used as stand alone click through pages for digital ad campaigns, they’re not added to your store’s navigation menus by default. You will need to set up navigation to your Famous pages if you’d like visitors to be able to access your Famous pages from your online storefront. Learn how to set up navigation for your online store here.
Before you get started, open the Shoplink menu to verify that your store is still connected to the project.
After confirming the connection, click the Publish icon in the top tool bar. This will open the Publish menu.
In the Publish menu, you will be presented with a dropdown menu that lists the domain of the connected store as well as the Famous publishing domain, a page path that can be customized and a Publish button.
Select your store’s domain from the dropdown menu at the top of the Publish menu.
Customize the page path by clicking on the pencil icon that appears to the right of the page path field. On click, the path becomes editable. Enter in a new path name, then click on the checkmark to confirm your changes.
Click on the Publish button to publish the project to the page path that you specified in Step 4.
To view your published page on desktop, click on the Copy icon that appears to the right of the pencil icon to copy the url for the published page then paste it into a new browser tab.
To view the published page on mobile, navigate to the page path you published to from your mobile device.
When the “Republish” button is displayed, it means that there are edits that have been made to the design that have yet to be published. To publish these changes, simply click on the Republish button in the Publish menu.
Click on the Publish icon in the top toolbar to open the Publish menu.
On the Publish menu, you will be presented with a dropdown menu that lists the domain of the connected store as well as the Famous publishing domain, a page path that can be customized and a Publish button.
Make sure that your Shopify domain is selected from the Domain dropdown menu and the page path you last published to is reflected.
Click on the Republish button to push the latest version of your design.
To view published changes, navigate to the page URL on desktop or mobile.
You can unpublish a Famous page to prevent customers from viewing it. When a page is unpublished, it is still listed on the Page section of your Shopify admin, but status is set to ‘private’. To unpublish a page:
Click on the Publish icon in the top toolbar to open the Publish menu.
Make sure that your Shopify domain is selected from the Domain menu and the page path you last published to is reflected.
Click the Unpublish button. This will set the page to ‘private’ so that no customers can access it. If a customer visits the page url, they will see a 404 “Page not available” error.
Famous pages can have a range of different statuses to indicate what they are currently doing.
Published (green dot): When a page has been published. It will show the 'published' status, this means that the page is live.
Unpublished (red dot) When pages are unpublished, they will display the 'unpublished' status. This means that the page is not currently live.
Outdated (orange dot): Means that there are edits that have been made to the design that have yet to be published.
You can rename the page path at any time by changing the path name in the Publish menu. To rename the page path:
Click on the Publish icon in the top toolbar to open the Publish menu.
Make sure that your Shopify domain is selected from the Domain menu and the page path you last published to is reflected.
Change the page path by clicking on the pencil icon that appears to the right of the page path field. On click, the path becomes editable. Enter in a new path name, then click on the checkmark to confirm your changes.
To verify the page path has changed, navigate to the new page path on desktop or mobile to view your published Famous page. Anyone that visits the old page path will see a 404 “Page not available” error.
